Book 5 baby! After (mostly) surviving the mildest of Gallowspire's challenges, we finally emerged "victorious", granting Arazni her opportunity to exact revenge against Tar Baphon. Of course that didn't exactly play out as we hoped, so now we find ourselves in an unfamiliar jungle with only a final cryptic instruction from Arazni as to what to do next.
 
This episode also features a sizeable cutscene, as all of our "first of book" episodes do. Tyrant's Grasp, as an adventure, is also the story of the Red Crusader, Arazni. Formerly the Herald of Aroden, enlisted and then killed fighting the Whispering Tyrant during the Shining Crusade. The imminent return of Tar Baphon in Tyrant's Grasp brings Arazni back to the forefront in Golarion's power dynamics, and this is her story. She is petty, she is angry, and she is...Unyielding.

It's been one hell of a journey. From the ruins of Vigil through the Hungry Mountains of Virlych and into the depths of Gallowspire itself we have been put through the wringer. We've lost friends (and acquaintances) and met some new ones along the way. We've seen horrors unknown to the world for nearly a thousand years and lived (mostly) to tell the tale. Now that we're finally out of the horror of Gallowspire, our real test can begin as we finally move out for a confrontation with the Whispering Tyrant himself...by proxy. We've got our part to play as the battle plays out in the background in the finale of Book 4!

This is not exactly where we thought we would end up. After finally escaping Gallowspire, we decided to pay a visit to an old friend, but someone didn't get the memo and caused quite the commotion in town. Ok, it's entirely possible we've bitten off more than we can chew with the depths of Gallowspire. As much as we struggled even with the parts that weren't sealed off from intruders, we just had to push our luck and delve even deeper, and we have paid the price for it.
